Steve Metzger, CEO

Steve Metzger, CEO

Steve has over 30 years technical, sales, and executive management experience in public and private communications services, networks and design. He has developed numerous services in telecom, datacom, and the Internet. Steve has rich experience in operational support and billing systems. Prior to founding VT&T, Steve was CEO of Waller Creek Communications, an Austin, Texas, based fiber optic wholesaler of broadband services. His background includes several startups as well as positions with ROLM, IBM, AT&T, Harris, and Fujitsu. Steve is a National Trustee for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and through his foundation, supports cancer research and other causes.
Isaac Squires, Sr. VP Technology

Isaac Squires, Sr. VP Technology

Isaac is a veteran of the software and gaming industry. Founder of Warb Inc, Isaac has a background in user interface design and real-time rendering. Prior to joining VT&T, his team built a next-generation graphics engine designed to support virtual worlds composed of user generated content. Isaac has a rich background in development, development management, team management, software design, and architecture for products in both the consumer and the enterprise markets. Isaac has worked for National Instruments and Sun Microsystems, and holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Glenn D. de Gruy, Vice President of Sales & Business Development

Drawing from over twenty - two years of experience in general management, executive level sales operations and sales management, Glenn has a proven track record of success building businesses in start up’s as well as in public and private companies. His experience includes 11 years working in the telecom industry leading North American based direct and indirect sales organizations.

Prior to joining VT&T, Glenn’s experience spanned Corporate and Small Business. Most recently, Glenn was Vice President with a North American based retained executive search firm where he was responsible for operations and sales which included, defining and implementing the operating model as well as identifying potential M&A opportunities. Previously, Glenn was Vice President of North American Sales for a Global Telecommunications manufacturer in the enterprise market. In addition, Glenn has more than 9 years of entrepreneurial experience, within the consumer markets of manufacturing, packaging and distribution as well as the hospitality industry. He is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and currently serves as the Chair of the Capital Campaign of The Holy Cross School which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. He is also the co-founder of the New Orleans Coffee Coalition which focuses on economic development within the areas hurt most by Hurricane Katrina.
Mike Feyen, VP Engineering

Mike Feyen, VP Engineering

Mike has over 20 years of product development, program management, and customer support experience delivering enterprise solutions to Fortune 500 customers across several industries. Prior to joining VT&T Mike served as Vice President of Development for Worksoft Inc. where he led the development and customer support teams to deliver the Worksoft Certify product.

Mike led the development organization at CyCare to develop their flagship product that generated over $20 million in first year revenues. Mike was a Director at First Consulting Group delivering custom software solutions that increased revenue generation capabilities for large hospitals and clinics by over $1 million per year. Mike has held management positions working with partners and value added resellers to provide OEM software for their use.
Richard Cox, Consulting Engineer, Founder

Richard Cox, Consulting Engineer, Founder

Richard has over 25 years of high tech product architecture and executive management experience. Most recently he was the Director of Engineering at NexQl, Inc. A Texas based startup developing database acceleration products. He served as Vice President of Engineering of Creaton, Inc. and as Director of Engineering for North America for the Intelligent Packet product line at Marconi. He also served as Director of Software Engineering at Reltec before its acquisition by Marconi. Richard established and led the BT Center of Excellence for Intelligent Networks. He has been awarded several U.S. and international patents. Richard’s early career included engineering and consulting for major telecommunication companies and defense electronics firms. He is a Practicing Member of the Worldwide Institute of Software Architects and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
